WHY SHOULD YOU SUPPORT US?
We aim to support education in rural communities where opportunities are limited. Our unwavering commitment is to uplift these communities hand in hand with local partners, igniting the flame of inspiration in students and community members alike. By fostering this spark, we aim to cultivate a profound transformation—one that transcends classrooms and textbooks.
When you support t4cinitiatives, you are becoming a part of something big, a life changing force for children who live in rural communities.
Your contribution directly supports the projects, we do not pay salaries in Canada, nor office space so your contribution goes directly to where it is needed most.
A gift of only $15/month or $150 / year means one child who may otherwise be left behind, will go to school, have a chance one day to continue their education, find skilled employment or start their own enterprise. Every child a star, education gives them a chance to shine.

Our appeal
My name is Osprival Descomme and I am a board member of T4C and the director of CIJ Haiti.
T4C supports schools in Haiti located in Deschappelles, Verrettes and the remote communities of Haut Cabouet where the only access is by foot or donkey. The schools were founded by Reverend Bolière in the 1970s to provide education in disadvantaged neighborhoods in Deschappelles and Verrettes and in the remote region known as Haut Cabouet. In 2020, at the age of 96, Reverend Bolière transferred these schools to CIJHAITI.
These schools had long been supported by a Canadian organization which is no longer active in Haiti. Teachers are paid in part through tuition fees unfortunately, with many parents being unable to pay, the fees collected are not enough to pay a very modest salary to teachers. I invite you to join our community in Canada working to raise enough to meet our commitments and to find ways to improve the education and opportunities in these communities.
I am grateful to those who have supported my initiatives in Deslandes, to train trainers, to build with compressed earth blocks, to bring awareness of environmental issues and so much more. I invite you to continue on this journey of empowering youth and building community.
“We envision making a difference in rural villages where it’s needed the most. Our priority is to bring positive change in children's lives. With your support we can send a child to school. If you share the vision for a positive change, support t4c initiatives and make it happen.”
